What was originally intended to be the final book of the series ultimately became the penultimate one. That unexpected change gave me the opportunity to explore story threads I had woven throughout the earlier books and to prepare the way for the series’ conclusion. I hope you enjoy this chapter of the journey as much as I enjoyed writing it.
